"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Carl Rogers. Therapy is a deeply personal journey involving an array of emotions waiting to be discovered and explored. You deserve to be heard and supported through life's unpredictable moments and events, and I welcome you to share your experiences, obstacles, and thoughts in a comfortable, safe and encouraging space where you can unearth and be your authentic self.
I specialize in working with youth, teenage and young adult populations, and utilize a variation of therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, DBT & Mindfulness, CBT and other techniques to support and engage youth in sessions. I believe it's extremely important to meet the client where they're at and not give a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Your pilgrimage is unique to you and I look forward to learning more about what brings you to therapy and working collaboratively to face everyday challenges.
"I have over 16 years of experience working in group homes, schools, hospitals, nonprofits, DCYF, and in-home therapy. I have supported kids, teens, and young adults using CBT strategies, emotional insight, and exploration of core beliefs to promote growth and lasting mental health progress"

"I specialize in helping clients quiet their inner critic and strengthen their inner ally. We explore negative core beliefs and how they affect present-day experiences using CBT strategies to reframe thoughts, expand emotional vocabulary, and separate emotions from identity. My style is open, nonjudgmental, and infused with humor, making space for growth that feels both empowering and real."

Jennifer Brosnan
Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC
Hi there, I'm Jennifer! As a therapist, I find value in helping others reach their full potential. I am eager to get to know my clients on an individual basis and provide a tailored approach that meets their needs. I enjoy using a client-centered approach that makes each session comfortable and productive for my clients. I enjoy using strategies that employ a strength-based approach, working towards reaching the individualized goals of my clients.
I encourage my client's to engage in direct communication regarding their comfortability in therapy and how they are feeling regarding matching with me specifically as their therapist. I will always try and be flexible with client's and scheduling as best as possible. I enjoy allowing my client's to lead goal setting and I will offer insight and suggestions into any additional goals I may see as beneficial. I will check in with client's on their perception of how their progress reaching their goals is going. Goals may shift during our sessions as needed, if additional stressors and situations arise.
